Santa Saved by Norwalk, CT, Rescue Technicians

Dec. 9, 2024
The jolly fellow's bright red suit got entangled in the rigging, leaving him dangling 60 feet in the air, Norwalk fire officials reported.

Santa found himself in a bit of a predicament  -- at 60 feet in the air -- and needed assistance.

Norwalk firefighters found the man in a red suit dangling after said outfit got snarled in the rigging as he was rappelling down a 13-story building.

Technical rescue personnel discussed their plan with Santa from a sixth-floor window. After placing a safety line on the jolly fellow, he was moved inside.

There were no injuries to Santa or his rescuers, according to a post on Norwalk Fire Department's Facebook page.
